Authorities are confirming that an individual was struck and killed by a passenger train in Middle River on Wednesday evening.

The victim was struck and killed by an Amtrak train heading from New York City to Washington, D.C.

Paramedics responded to Eastern Boulevard & Wilson Point Road at about 7:30 p.m. and found one person deceased.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released and an investigation is ongoing at this hour.
