Crews were busy battling a car fire that shut down a busy roadway on Monday night. 

At about 8 p.m., emergency personnel responded to Pulaski Highway (Route 40) at Jones Road in Kingsville. 

At the scene, responding personnel found that a car was on fire. 

Westbound Route 40 was briefly shut down while crews extinguished the blaze. 

There has been no word on any injuries.
